I love the Hannibal Lecter series, mostly Silence of the Lambs and Red Dragon, for their suspense and overall "holy crap what is wrong with this man?"-ness. And because Clarice and...Ed Norton need to consult Dr. Lecter about other cases, we get to see what's happening and the point of view of both the criminals and the detectives. I love that about these movies, and the books are A++ as well.
